December 1st and there is already talk of freezing rain in the area for tomorrow morning so this is the perfect opportunity to remind you of how the roads are treated and plowed.
Prince William County plows and treats all single- family home streets (except section 4) as they are public roads. The Association is responsible for the townhome streets and Section 4, which is Mountain Laurel Loop and Locust Creek Drive. Many of the streets in Southbridge are very tight which can make it difficult and dangerous for plows to make it down the streets. When possible, vehicles should be parked in your driveway providing ample space for the plows to maneuver down the street. Last year several streets were not getting treated or plowed as the area was too tight for the plow to get between cars.
