It has been reported that envelopes have been taped to several doors with blue painters tape and there is nothing in the envelope. This could be some type of scam. If this happens at your home you should contact the non-emergency police number at 703-792-6500 so they have a record of this.
From time to time we may place an envelope on certain doors but it would be for business purposes.
